largely intact c. 1880's antique american victorian era ornamental cast iron residential porch and/or screen door lockset, fabricated by the russell & erwin mfg. co., new britain, ct. the sets includes a fully functional surface lock with spring-loaded latch, two petite doorknobs and spindle with set screws. the catch was lost long ago. traces of the original baked black enameled finish remains intact. the lockset likely contained a copper-plated finish when first installed. priced for the assembly shown.
