two matching original 19th century american eastlake style ornamental cast brass "ivy" pattern residential shutter door oversized hinges designed and patented by john j. kennedy of branford, ct. the highly detailed shutter door hinges were salvaged from the david c. cook mansion, constructed in 1885. the hinges contain traces of the original amber-bronzed finish. fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. measure approximately 2 x 1 /2 inches. priced for the pair.
