refinished vintage american industrial factory foreman desk and storage cabinet salvaged from a detroit automotive assembly plant. likely dates to the late 1930's. the freestanding cabinet is comprised of heavy gauge angled and sheet steel with a brushed metal finish. the oversized single cabinet door contains two hinges and original latch. the angled top hinged work surface conceals a spacious storage compartment accessed by lifting the sheet steel top to an upright position. the workstation remains structurally sound and stable. the surface was treated with a protective clear coat finish. measures 24 x 20 x 46 inches.
