fully functional c. 1920's hard to find and highly desirable all original "sani" factory lunch hall replacement swing-out seat designed and fabricated for the sani products company, sani building, chicago, il. sani products was formed to merchandize the products of the marietta mfg. co., in indianapolis, ind., and the chicago hardware foundry company, of north chicago, ill. the simply-constructed and fully functional swing-out seat consists of a mounting bracket with pre-drilled holes for attaching against the table's cast iron base. the pivoting arm, held in place with a solid steel loose pin contains a small flat platform with pre-drilled holes for mounting against the underside of the circular-shaped maple wood seat. the bracket has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the solid round seat has been lightly cleaned, but not refinished. the bracket originally contained a baked black enameled finish. four matching replacement brackets with seats are available. priced individually. price is firm. the hardware measures approximately 18 x 1 1/2 x 10 inches with a seat diameter of 13 inches.a total of 11 "singlets" with seats are available.
