hard to find and completely intact c. 1860's exterior rear entrance old growth pine wood door salvaged from a pre-chicago fire italianate row house. the unique circle-top "light" panel door retains the original wavy and seeded glass. the built-up or raised arched molding flanking the muntin remains completely intact. the elongated oval-shaped panel below the lock rail contains very elaborate trimwork with raised panel. the stiles remain structurally sound. originally had white porcelain knobs and cast iron rosettes. the door has been thoroughly stripped from paint. measures 32 x 79 inches. likely manufactured by the cronkhite & herren co., chicago, il. excellent overall condition.
