early 20th century american vintage industrial industrial revolving garment rack fabricated by the j. r. palmenberg's sons co., new york city, ny. the reinforced mobile store display fixture features a four-legged detachable cast iron base with original swivel casters intact. the heavy gauge cylindrical steel pole supports a large tubular steel ring, reinforced with evenly spaced cast iron brackets. the oversized circular rack revolves with ease. each flared bracket is accentuated with the original oxidized copper plated finish. . the antique freestanding garment rack was salvaged from a downtown chicago department store.
