single early 20th century american prairie school exterior chicago building facade white glazed "stock" terra cotta ornamental frieze panel designed and fabricated by the midland terra cotta company, chicago, ills. the "sullivanesque" terra cotta panel has been greatly modified with the rear cavities or webbing removed to substantially reduce the weight and make it displayable flush against the wall. the salvaged exterior facade panel features a combination of geometric and floral design motifs. the nicely aged surface patina caused from prolonged exposure to the elements has been left untouched.
