early 1950's vintage american industrial due cut steel "caution" sign salvaged from a chicago steam gauge factory. the brightly colored single-sided sign was likely fabricated by the ready-made sign co., new york city, new york. contains four pre-drilled holes for mounting flush against the wall, machine, etc. contains a nicely weathered surface patina in the form of sporadic surface rust. measures 10 x 7 inches.
