c. 1940's original and intact american vintage industrial towering cold-rolled steel stackable "art metal" barrister bookcase designed and fabricated by the art metal construction co., jamestown, ny. the five-unit factory office bookcase contains fully functional sliding glass doors with original knob pulls. the stackable modules have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the low-lying four-legged base and crown are original and intact. original baked off-white enameled finish. measures 33 x 13 x 74 1/2 inches.
