intact early 20th century antique american industrial carpenter's workbench with fully functional rapid acting vise fabricated by the richards-wilcox manufacturing co., aurora, il. the worktable features a four-legged base containing two bolted wood stringers for added support. the base is comprised of old growth pine, with tenon and wedge joinery. a full-length tool well with clean-out ramps runs along the rear of the work surface. maple wood table top with multiple dog holes shows nice wear consistent with age. measures 48 x 22 x 31 1/2 inches. length with vise is 54".
