early 20th century antique american industrial interlocking and stackable four-drawer and/or filing cabinet designed and fabricated by or for the wilson-jones loose leaf company, chicago, ills. the robust cold-rolled steel cabinets or individual modules retain the original dark olive green enameled finish. the sliding file drawers retain the original handles and placard holders. the cabinets were salvaged from chicago's city hall buildng by holabird and roche.
