all original quartered oak wood mantel salvaged from a chicago residence built around 1887. the full-sized stick-and-ball mantel retains the original lunette style beveled edge mirror free from cracks or breaks. the original varnished finish exhibits wear and tear consistent with age. exact fabricator not known, but could by palmer and fuller.
