single early to late 1950's american vintage industrial heavy gauge stamped steel "think" factory informational sign possibly fabricated by read-made or the stonehouse sign company. the flush mount sign contains a nicely worn and weathered green enameled finish with bold white lettering. the slogan, "don't be litter bug" was used extensively on highways as well as the work environment, with the caricature of the litter "bug" first introduced in 1952 in pennsylvania. the locaton of the two holes suggests it was mounted flush against a sign post found within or around the perimeter of the factory complex. only one available. measures 10 x 14 inches
