very unique and unusual late 1960's original vintage american heavy gauge die cut steel warning or cautionary sign with original porcelain enameled finish largely intact. the sign was originally mounted flush against a fence surrounding an illinois state cemetery. according to the parental responsibility law, parent would be held accountable if their children were caught vandalizing any and all things within the cemetery grounds. the original steel grommets used to protect the screw hole openings are partially intact. light discoloration and surface rust evident from coming into contact with the steel fence. measures approximately 12 x 12 inches.
