original late 19th century antique american victorian era dome-shaped ornamental cast bronze doorknob. the exact hardware fabricator is not known. the banded rim doorknob contains a black enameled inlay used to accentuate the casting detail. mostly uniform surface patina throughout. measures approximately 2 1/2 inches in diameter.
