early 1940's american industrial freestanding chicago athletic club locker room sitting bench designed and fabricated by the fred medart mfg. co., st. louis, mo. the long and narrow low-lying bench is comprised of solid maple wood supported by two oversized heavy gauge black enameled steel pipes with threaded end flanges mounted on the top and bottom. structurally sound and stable. the maple bench has a nicely aged finish. only one available. measures approximately 94 x 9 1/2 x 17 inches.
