original and intact early 1930's american industrial reinforced old growth pine wood stationary workbench salvaged from a chicago area factory specializing in the cutting and forming of tungsten wire. multiple tables with a similar configuration and wood type were removed from this factory. the medium-sized table with solid post legs and bulky stretchers contain several large steel bolts and notched joinery for added support and stability. the single pull-out drawer with handle is original. the tabletop consists of multiple boards fastened tightly in place. the workshop table has been sanded down and sealed. measures approximately 51 x 31 x 31 inches.
