two matching original unrestored early 20th century antique american interior residential stamped metal "como" pattern doorknob backplates designed and manufactured by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. the two passage door backplates are comprised of wrought steel with a partially intact copper-plated finish. each wrought steel thimble is tightly affixed to the backside of the escutcheon. several sets available. salvaged from a chicago graystone residence built around 1905. priced for the pair. 2.5 x 7.75"
