two matching 19th century american eastlake style "ivy" pattern ornamental cast brass interior residential passage door keyhole escutcheons designed and patented by john j. kennedy of branford, ct. the intricately designed keyplates were salvaged from the first floor windows of the david c. cook mansion, built in 1884-85. black enameled inlay used to accentuate the detail (i.e., ivy leaf field pattern). fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. measure 2 1/4 x 1 1/8 inches. priced for the pair.
