exceptional refinished ornamental cast iron fully adjustable height freestanding four-legged men's shaving stand designed and fabricated by the chicago adjustable furniture company, chicago, ills. the early 20th century shaving stand retains the original tilting mirror and frame. the pressed and folded curved bin or sink is detachable from the cast iron frame supporting it. the fanciful weighted base contains manufacturer markings along the underside. the brushed metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. dates to 1904-1910.
