original c. 1920's american antique medical four-legged adjustable height hospital operating room stool designed and fabricated by william v. willis & co., philadelphia, pa. the low-lying stool is supported by reinforced heavy gauge steel bent tubular legs with welded joint slid steel rod cross-bracing used for added support and stability. the pressed and formed sheet steel seat is affixed to a solid steel threaded rod that rotates up and down with ease. the brushed metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures approximately 10 x 10 x 19 inches.
