c. 1930's american made vintage industrial four-legged pressed and folded heavy gauge steel automotive mechanic stool salvaged from an old south side chicago filling station. the low-lying stationary stool (likely had casters at one point) retains the original varnished oak wood seat. the riveted joint cross-bracing provides added support and stability. the base has been brushed to bare steel and treated with a clear coat lacquer. fabricated by the angle steel stool co., otsego, mi. measures 13 inches in height.
