original and intact late 1940's american vintage industrial four-legged factory stool designed and fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the low-lying stool has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the slightly contoured backrest is adjustable. the pierced metal spacious seat remains in great shape, considering age. structurally sound and stable. seat height measures 20 inches.
