lightweight and versatile c. 1940's american industrial freestanding factory machine stand salvaged from a recently shuttered specialty metal office furniture factory located on the west side of chicago. the telescoping stand is comprised of all-welded joint tubular steel. the brushed metal finish has been treated with a clear coat lacquer. the primitive threaded end t-shaped handle secures the pipe at the desired height. the small steel deck or platform is welded to the underside of the adjustable rod or upright.
