most unusual c. 1920's antique american industrial banker's lamp featuring a cold-rolled steel emeralite-esque reflector with a perfectly intact green porcelain enameled finish. the fully adjustable table lamp is attributed to the faries mfg. co., decatur, il. the heavy duty industrial lamp retains the original cast iron base with a distinctive stepped profile. both the single supporting arm and lamp shade tilt to any desired angle. the configuration and shape of the shade is nearly identical to the green cased glass shades found on mcfadden and company's emeralite fixtures. the cast iron and steel arm and weighted base have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the socket has been rewired with period appropriate braided cloth lamp cord. measures 7 x 9 x 18 inches.
