original c. 1925-30 american antique industrial refurbished fully adjustable table task lamp designed and fabricated by s. robert schwarts & co., new york city, ny. the articulating double-jointed reading lamp contains a weighted cast iron base in the from of the union shield. the distinctive disc or dial-shaped rotating joints are comprised of pressed and stamped steel. the robust table or desk lamp has been rewired with period appropriate braided cloth cord and plug. the fixture, socket and parabolic shade or reflector have been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a cleat coat lacquer.
