original c. 1900-10 antique american made industrial four-legged model number "2307f" dietzgen drafting or draftsman stool designed and fabricated by the eugene dietzgen co., principal factory, chicago, il. the strong and sturdy stool contains multiple turned dowels or stretchers and an original heel ring or footrest fastened to each leg by steel wood screws. the refinished cast iron cradle designed to support the revolving threaded solid steel spindle is secured firmly to each of the slightly flared legs. the circular-shaped seat with slightly sunken center remains in good overall condition. both the cast iron and wood components have been refinished and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. stool has a seat diameter of 14 inches and adjustable height range of 26-30 inches
