original and well-maintained c. 1930's american four-legged heavy gauge steel factory machine shop stool designed and fabricated by the angle steel stool co., inc., otsego, mi. the thoroughly cleaned and refinished steel is reinforced with multiple riveted joint horizontal stretchers. the original solid maple wood seat has been sanded down and sealed. the angled steel base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. the stool contains the distinctive inward-turned "ball" feet that were used almost exclusively on angle steel stool company furniture products. measures approximately 15 x 15 x 28 with a seat diameter of 14 inches.
