single late 1920's or early 1930's american industrial robust four-legged heavy gauge factory machine shop workman's stool designed and fabricated by the angle steel stool company, plainwell, mich. the strong and sturdy stool contains a riveted joint steel base with multiple stretchers for added support and stability. the protruding footrest is original to the stool's base. the intact solid maple wood seat retains the original stenciled markings from the manufacturer located on the underside of the seat. the brushed metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. seat measures 14 inches in diameter. measures 14 1/2 wide x 28 1/2 inches high.
