original 1940's vintage american industrial salvaged chicago heavy duty workbench likely fabricated by the lyon mental products company, aurora, ills. the structurally sound and stable desk has been completely stripped of paint and stripped with a clear coat lacquer. the bare metal finish is mostly uniform throughout. the salvaged chicago factory workbench was used in an a. finkl foundry workshop.
