gargantuan late 19th century all original and intact salvaged chicago interior mansion dining room built-in cabinet comprised of solid oak with original varnished finish. the towering two-section built-in features a centrally located double-hung stained glass window with ornamental cast iron sash lock. the hinged cabinet doors retains the original escutcheons, locks and decorative brass skeleton keys. the heavily compartmentalized china cabinet or built-in contains a multitude of shelves flanking the art glass window. the cabinet is accentuated with diminutive columns with gesso capitals and fretwork. the surrounding trim is original and intact. the cabinet doors feature ornamental laurel wreaths. the cast brass drawer drop handles are fully functional. the golden oak finish is mostly uniform throughout. dates to 1896.
