visually striking american depression era art deco style "skyscraper style" single electric hanging pendant light salvaged from a chicago diner located on the far west side of chicago. the machine age fixture contains an oversized white opalescent pressed glass shade or globe contains a series of staggered and curved protrusions arranged in a multi-tier or graduated formation. the original bronzed steel shade fitter, tubular stem or pole and ceiling canopy remain intact. the streamlined glass globe was fabricated by the phoenix art glass co., pittsburgh, pa. a total of three matching fixtures are available. measures 10 x 45 inches.
