solidly built american 19th century weighted cast iron pedestal pub base with newly added rectangular-shaped stained and sealed solid pine wood table top. the fanciful turned and tapered stationary base was fabricated by r. rothschild's sons company, cincinnati, oh. the low-lying cast iron base has been brushed down to bare metal and sealed with a clear coat lacquer. makes for an ideal side table. measures approximately 35 3/4 x 15 1/2 x 26 1/2 inches.
