early 20th century vintage american industrial stationary factory office "baby typewriter" stand fabricated by the auto parts mfg. co., detroit, mi. the diminutive stand is comprised of a three-legged cast iron base with brazed joint steel upright support. the original top was removed long ago. a custom-built old growth solid walnut wood round tabletop was added recently. brushed metal finish sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 19 x 23 inches.
