very unique and unusual late 1940's vintage american industrial "k" leg stationary table base salvaged from a recently shuttered specialty metal office furniture factory, located in chicago, il. the repurposed heavy duty desk is comprised largely of heavy gauge all-welded angled steel with newly added tabletop consisting of mahogany and oak wood edging. the tucked away undershelf contains bolted oak wood insets within a partially enclosed angled steel frame. the mostly uniform brushed metal finish has been sealed with a clear coat lacquer. measures 31 1/2 x 25 x 30 inches.
