original 19th century antique american ornamental cast brass "oriental" pattern eastlake style square-shaped passage door rosette designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the single decorative rosette contains a centrally located protruding thimble and four screw holes for mounting purposes. the surface finish is mostly even throughout. salvaged from a chicago red brick two-flat undergoing demolition. only one available. measures 2 x 2 inches.
