original and intact four-legged american industrial stationary factory machine shop stool designed and fabricated by the royal metal manufacturing co., chicago, il. the old industrial stool contains an unusually large saddle seat, comprised of solid white oak wood. the underside retains the original manufacturer's markings in the form of black stenciled letters. the adjustable angled steel base has multiple riveted joint stretchers and a curved footrest. the extensions for height adjustment contain several pre-drilled holes. the metal base and oak wood stool have been thoroughly cleaned and refinished. base measures at 15 inches x 16 inches. seat diameter measures at 16 inches x 13 inches. seat height measures at 22 1/2 inches.
