original and intact early 20th century american varnished oak wood interior residential colonnade corbel or bracket salvaged from a chicago graystone residence. the solid oak wood scrolled corbel was likely designed and fabricated by the decorators' supply co., chicago, il. the sides are accentuated with pressed gesso ornament, in the form of volutes and floral motifs. original finish remains largely intact. measures approximately 10 x 3 1/2 x 3 1/2 inches.
