top to bottom repurposed vintage american industrial coffee table consisting of a heavy gauge steel frame originally apart of a larger shelving unit fabricated by the lyon metallic mfg. co., aurora, il. the massive factory storage shelving unit was constructed in the 1940's. the base has been reconfigured and brushed down to bare metal. a newly added pine wood board tabletop and undershelf with a mostly uniform and darkly stained finish are tightly affixed to the frame. the angled steel legs contain welded joint stretchers for added support and stability. the large square-shaped floor plates are welded firmly against each leg. the bare steel has been sealed with a clear coat finish. similar tables in a long and narrow configuration are available. measures approximately 68 x 26 x 24 1/2 inches.
