matching set of original late 1890's american antique art nouveau style ornamental wrought bronze pocket door escutcheons designed and fabricated by the p. & f. corbin co., new britain, ct. the "roanoke" pattern backplates retains the original highly desirable oxidized copper-plated finish. each escutcheon contains an elongated oval-shaped recessed region with centrally located skeleton keyhole. the backplates have been lightly cleaned. priced for the pair. each one measures approximately 2 1/2 x 5 inches.
