pair of original antique american 19th century ornamental cast brass interior residential passage door rosettes designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the rosettes were salvaged from the c. 1886 extant david c. cook mansion, located in elgin, il. the doorknob rosettes feature a repeating palmette design motif. black enameled inlay added to accentuate the casting detail. measure approximately 2 inches in diameter. priced for the pair.
