matching set of original early 20th century american art nouveau style ornamental cast brass "de bercy" pattern interior residential doorknobs. fabricated around 1897-1905 by the russell & erwin mfg. co., new britain, ct. the knobs are dome-shaped with bead & reel border. the reverse is unadorned. great surface patina. measure approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter. priced for the pair. lightly incised manufacturer markings found along the doorknob shanks.
