pair of original 19th century american eastlake style "egyptian" pattern ornamental cast brass interior residential doorknobs designed and fabricated by branford lock works, branford, ct. the matching drum-shaped doorknobs contain unique knurled edges. the original black enameled inlay remains largely intact. the doorknobs were salvaged from the extant david c. cook mansion, located in elgin, il. nicely aged surface patina throughout. measure approximately 2 1/4 inches in diameter. priced for the pair.
