single antique american 19th century interior residential portrait or figural residential fireplace tile fabricated around 1885-90 by the cambridge art tile works, covington, ky. the light olive green glazed tile features a deeply embossed portrait of a female with elegantly designed leaf & berry headband. the antique ceramic tile is free from residual mortar and/or any other unwanted debris found and the backside. very little, if any, surface crazing evident. measures 6 x 6 inches.
