all original c. 1950's american industrial freestanding angled iron factory machine shop stool designed and fabricated by the pollard brothers, chicago, il. the four-legged stool retains the original "pollard green" baked enameled finish over iron. the multiple stretchers are reinforced with riveted joints. the wood composite seat and slightly contoured maple wood backrest are original to the stool. surface wear evident. salvaged from a west side chicago factory specializing in sheet steel fabrication. measures approximately 14 x 14 x 24 inches.
