very unique and unusual custom-built freestanding machine shop support stand salvaged from a chicago steam gauge factory. the telescoping stand is supported by a sprawling cast iron base containing ball feet with protruding pedals. the stand is comprised of heavy gauge tubular steel with primitive welded joint l-shaped handles. the topmost section contain a section of steel channel mounted horizontally against the post. contains a brushed metal finish treated with a clear-coat lacquer. measures 64 inches tall.
