very unique and unusual c. 1930's vintage american industrial machine shop factory table base comprised entirely of heavy gauge angled steel. the four-legged table base was salvaged from a chicago tool & die factory. features visually appealing arched stretchers or bracing riveted tightly against the outer frame. the naturally aged or used and abused surface finish was left untouched. most likely custom built in-house. the table base is structurally sound and stable. measures 38 x 21 x 28 inches.
