all original early 20th century american portable vanity or dresser mirror comprised largely of ornamental cast iron. the elongated oval-shaped swivel mirror is supported by two high tensile strength steel rods affixed on each side. the base consists of intricate perforated filigree with a statuary geisha girl with outstretched arms supporting the mirror bracket. fabricated by the golden mfg. co., chicago, il. contains a uniform brushed steel finish treated with a cleat coat lacquer. measures 9 1/4 by 18 inches in height.
