original c. 1900-10 american folk art single-sided stationary store "ink all brands" exterior hanging trade sign comprised of tin metal. the crudely designed, oversized trade sign takes the shape of a inkwell or pot with a collared ring top. vibrant cobalt blue enameled background contrasts nicely against the gilded lettering outlined (partially) in black. originates from city of new york. naturally aged surface, consisting of expected wear and tear, crazing, etc. measures 36 x 36 inches. unidentified maker. nice example of an early american hand-crafted folk art trade sign.
