original and intact early 1940's american machine age vintage medical cold-rolled steel freestanding storage cabinet likely fabricated by american metal furniture inc., indianapolis, ind. the oversized cabinet contains a single pull-out drawer and hinged cabinet door concealing a spacious interior. the heavy gauge pressed and folded steel tabletop retains the original "sani" white porcelain enameled finish with black edge border. the streamlined style handles with chrome accents are original and intact. the uniform brushed metal surface has been treated with a clear coat finish. measures 22 1/2 x 18 x 36 inches.
